The 2nd Annual Swift Mile Street Festival and Pint Path on September 9th, 2017!!!
The Swift Mile Street Festival hit the streets of North Kansas City in 2016 with the goal of bringing community awareness to the budding entrepreneurial and entertainment venues popping up all along the Swift Avenue corridor in historic North Kansas City. Swift Avenue was a prime location for the first two pieces of art installations coming from the street festival as a gift for city beautification. Almost 50 makers, craftsman and artisans joined us in 2016 to sell their local and handmade pieces. Festival patrons stated over and over how impressed they were with the quality of the vendors.
Our entertainment featured two music stages were in the festival area showcasing 13 local musicians and bands playing blues, jazz, country, rock and indie music as well as two artists painting murals “live” during the festival which were later installed on two buildings along Swift Avenue.
The Pint Path started in 2015 and joined The Swift Mile Street Festival in 2016 with 20 venues participating by offering food and adult beverage specials throughout the day.
